East Campus Parking Lot
The razing of Strawn and Carson Cottages allows for improvements to the east side of campus, including additional parking and lighting and safer pedestrian walkways.
The project is expected to be concluded by the first week of the semester.
Updates
- Fencing will be installed around the gravel lot and the Chapel lot sometime in the next two weeks to ensure the site is ready for construction to begin on May 19. Both lots will still be available for parking.
- Beginning May 19, the gravel lot and the Chapel lot will be closed. All cars must be moved from that lot by May 18 or risk being towed.
- Traffic will not be able to get to the lot behind Blazer Hall from the south side of campus; you must go around and enter the lot near athletics.
